I had to buy a sound card for the computer.
My older brother laughed in my face about it. When it finally upgraded to 10, guess what.
So, I finally gave in and decided to just update the stupid thing, then I read the motherboard box (I built the computer myself), box said "Windows 7 compatible ". When they forced Windows 7 onto Windows 10, I kept getting error messages on a PC I had BEFORE my last PC. If there's a class action lawsuit about this, I WILL BE THERE TO COLLECT MY MONEY. If Windows 10 is supported until 2025, WHY the crap are they trying to force Win11 on us so soon?! GET A GRIP, MICROSOFT! I'm getting pissed. My computer has been crashing because of it, and freezing and locking up. Yet again, Microsoft is ramming another Operating System up our computers' asses, and along the way, something WILL break. What if I were to go back to Windows 10? Anyone have thoughts on that?Ĭall me Sick Rick - sick and tired of Windows 11 incompetence!!!!! Wish they could send out a patch to all of us!!! However, I had to vent how terrible Windows 11 is. If anyone out there can help, I really can use it. The only way I can access them is in the Excel dashboard - but for how long? I have now been struggling with this for weeks and have not stumbled on any solution - including using safe mode to save. Problem now is that none of the content of my Excel files will save to any document folder. More hours and I'm still not sure how I accomplished it. Then I couldn't transfer any PST files from my old Outlook. After hours of struggling, finally accomplished the transfer. First it was trouble transferring my Microsoft Office programs. From the very beginning it was nothing but trouble. So it should be easy to transfer files and programs from old to new. Bought new HP laptop also with Windows 11. That's when the trouble started, but thought since it was 5 years old it was time to replace.
Windows 11 was automatically installed on my old HP laptop.
